I work for the South African military, I draw for fun in my spare time. I've had no lessons on how to draw, everything I do I taught myself to do.

I really like your robotic hand design, it's given me a few ideas for my current cyborg I'm building, awesome work though man..
Do you teach yourself modeling and 3D also? and what programs do you use?
and again, really great stuff.

thanks man! :) ill have a look at ur stuff too. yeah i taught myself everything, i use Solidworks, it has built in tutorials, and i just went from there. Solidworks also has a built in renderer. its more for engineering designs so much more difficult to do anything besides machinery..

Nice, same here, except I use 3ds max. I'm still trying to get a grasp on the whole Hard Surface modeling, but it's a work in progress. Lol. Right now I'm inbetween projects, one being a town or city(depending how big my RAM lets me make it. lol) but all in the style of SteamPunk with the old Medieval to Victorian era scenery, and the other is the cyborg I mentioned in the last post, it's going to be an animation of her being put together kind of like a car on on an assembly line, with the robotic arms and all, but I'm making her piece by piece. so it's taking a long.. assed.. time.

sounds great man! i like them cities! and steam punk! how much have u done so far? u should throw some works in progress up! u can always remove em later when ur work is done. the assembly sounds cool too, would like to see that, i was thinking of doing an assembly of my droid but it mite just take too much effort.. its a pity modeling doesn't take quicker!
