You made this with Solidworks? Damn that's impressive! I've used software that has a similar construction system (Siemens NX, Auto desk Inventor) to create precision components, and I know for sure that making something like this with those methods would be really challenging. This is awesome! :D

thanks man! yes all my work is solidworks. I havent even tried any other program yet! XD i like the idea that most of my components are precision and to exact measurements, like u can build em in real life. also everything is to scale. the ship really is 30m long etc :) but this thunderhawk is nothin compared to my latr work :)

Not what I was looking for when I wrote Thunderhawk in the search bar, but a very cool concept.

thanks man! its called solidworks. its for machine designing. gives dimensions etc. so everything i draw is to scale and generally has the correct dimensions etc.

does that deal with polygons?.. or is it more like sketchup or something?

No polygons. Guess its like sketch up. The thing is constructed from extruding and cutting 2D planes. U do it enough times and u end up with this. Its much faster to draw machines. But more difficult to draw organics etc(almost impossible). Ive never used sketchup but i guess its similar.

really nice ! i like the streamlined look, but i wonder if the pilot workload might be a bit high, and if a tandem copilot/gunner position will be needed...?

hey yeah it is a high workload, the other crew (guessing about 3 or 4 sit just behind the cockpit), i put seats in, just doesnt show up in this render. there's at least a nav, and 2 weapons operators.

Hea, heck, I wish though time machines don't work at all. And if there was 1 in this world, it would b famous of all time including 2day u know. :) But yea, heck, if I made a time machine and if I can go in2 the future, heck I would 2 c hows future gonna b like. U know, maybe like badass machine like u draw, or maybe flying cars and trucks, or flying cities and all sorts of that. XD

yeah i realised time machines would never work.. but still, i reckon u should try.. well all those things will come to be, half the stuff will be sooner and the other stuff later like when there's "flying cars" and stuff.

Thanks man! Its actually a piece of junk called photoview360. U can only apply preset environments and adjust light intensity, so almost no customization. I need to get hold of a better one.. :S
